# Syne Design System
## Overview
Syne is an AI-native data analysis platform.
The interface should feel intelligent, calm, and trustworthy. Users spend long periods exploring dashboards, asking questions, and interpreting charts, so the UI should disappear into the background instead of competing for attention.
Every decision should reduce cognitive load.
## Colors
The palette is built around neutral surfaces with restrained use of color. Data should remain the visual focus, while color provides hierarchy, communicates state, and guides interaction.
Primary (#2E5D39): Reserved for actions, selection, focus states, and interactive elements. It should feel intentional rather than ever-present.
Primary Light (#428652): A 20% lighter tint used for secondary accents, hover states, and supporting emphasis where full primary would feel heavy.
Text Primary (#111827): Used for headings, metrics, and important information where maximum readability is required.
Text Secondary (#6B7280): Used for supporting content, labels, metadata, and descriptions to establish visual hierarchy.
Surface (#FAFAFA): Defines cards, panels, and secondary sections while maintaining a clean, uncluttered workspace.
Border (#E5E7EB): Creates subtle separation between interface elements without drawing attention.
Success (#16A34A): Indicates positive outcomes, completed actions, and healthy trends.
Warning (#F59E0B): Highlights states that require attention but are not critical.
Danger (#DC2626): Reserved for destructive actions, errors, and critical alerts.
